The culprit is most likely the bad advice you’ve been getting on what is healthy and what isn’t. Not your motivation. If these “healthy” foods are in your diet, you should cut them out immediately. Save the calories and sugar for the real thing, not the healthy hack that is anything but diet friendly.
So what are these diet sabotaging “healthy” foods?
Fruit Flavored Yogurts
These seemingly healthy snacks are usually pack a huge sugar punch in a tiny container. Seriously, check the sugar content on the back.

Instead, opt for plain Greek yogurt. Flavor it yourself by adding a handful of fresh berries. Add a little bit of crunch with slivered almonds or home baked oats and both your taste buds and thighs will thank you!
Fat free products seem like a great idea don’t they? I mean, doesn’t fat make you, well, fat?

Unfortunately, the answer is sugar. They add sugar in to make the food taste better after the fat has been removed. And if your goal is to lose weight, let me tell you, sugar is much worse than fat.
Last on this list is protein bars. Now, there are some protein bars that are great I’m sure. But a lot of them have a TON of sugar. Some even have more sugar than a candy bar.
Again, sugar is used to make the bar taste more appealing. So make sure to read the nutrition facts on the back and the ingredients before you filling your diet in with these convenient “healthy” food bars.
