If you are looking to lose weight in 5 days or heck even 3 days then you’ve come to the right place. I firmly believe that in order to stick to a weight loss program or diet you need to see the weight come off quickly to stay motivated to keep going. Let’s face it, dieting isn’t fun; if it was obesity wouldn’t be such a worldwide epidemic.

My weight loss story is probably one that you can relate to; I love food and I’m pretty sedentary and so I gained weight easily and had trouble losing the weight. Right after the birth of each of my children I lost some weight but then struggled to lose the rest of the “baby weight”. Breastfeeding made weight loss even harder as I spent much of my time sitting and feeding my child and then would be famished afterward. So I sat and I ate and I gained weight.

Now, before you think that this only applies to women, gentlemen I imagine that you too gained weight through eating and being too sedentary. We can all relate right? It’s how weight gain works.

The 3 Week Diet

I was embarrassed about my body and would find myself thinking up excuses to not participate in social events. I became more reclusive and well, depressed. And as happens in most of our lives, I had an event coming up that I should have looked forward to but instead dreaded. It was a friends wedding and I couldn’t get out of going.

So I turned to the internet looking for the magic answer to all my problems. I needed to lose weight and quickly. Every diet that I stumbled upon either took too long to lose the weight or was just weird. I mean who eats ice cream only for 4 days? Yes, I did try that and no I didn’t lose weight. Bummer.

The diets that seemed healthy just took too darn long to see results and so I ended up having “slip ups” all the time and gaining more weight!

I then found a diet called The Three Week diet and it promised weight loss of up to 23 pounds in 21 days. But I only had 5 days until I left for the wedding and 7 days until the actual event. I was desperate and so I gave it a try.

Some of the advice seemed contrary to what I had been told, but since nothing had worked in the past I figured maybe that advice was wrong anyway. Some of the diet seemed like it would be hard to do, but I could do anything for 21 days right? At the very least I could do anything for 5 days until I left for the wedding.

I followed The 3 Week Diet to a T and I lost 10 pounds in 5 days. I was so happy and felt so much more attractive that I was able to stick to the diet through the wedding festivities and for the remaining days. After 21 days I had lost 26 pounds and had gained confidence in myself again.

I am so thankful that I found the diet and that I was able to reclaim my life. I no longer sit on the sidelines or pass up on social gatherings because I’m embarrassed.

The downside is that there is no magic pill that enables you to sit on the couch eating cartons of ice cream and lose weight (or at least not that I know of). It takes some effort and sacrifice, but if you can stick to a diet that promotes quick weight loss, I can promise you will be more motivated to keep it up when you are seeing fast results.
